Silexion Therapeutics Doses First Patient in Phase 2/3 Trial of SIL204 for Pancreatic Cancer
Silexion Therapeutics (SLXN) announced on September 30, 2026, that the first patient has been dosed in its global Phase 2/3 trial of SIL204 in patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The investigational RNAi therapy targets KRAS-driven cancers and is being evaluated alongside standard chemotherapy. The trial opens with a safety run-in of approximately 18 patients, followed by a randomized cohort of about 166 patients comparing SIL204 plus chemotherapy against chemotherapy alone. SIL204 employs a dual-route delivery approach, combining EUS-guided intratumoral administration with subcutaneous dosing for systemic exposure. The first patient was treated at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center in Israel. Additional sites in Israel and Germany are expected to join the study.
