STMicroelectronics on Tuesday raised its 2026 data centre revenue forecast to about $1 billion, citing sustained demand tied to artificial intelligence infrastructure and expanded production capacity. The Franco-Italian chipmaker had previously guided for revenue "nicely above" $500 million. The company said revenues could double again in 2027 to around $2 billion if current momentum holds. Its data centre portfolio focuses on power management and surrounding infrastructure components rather than the graphics processors used to train AI models. STMicro attributed the higher target partly to progress in ramping factory capacity. The update was released on June 2, 2026.
