Takeda Canada Reports Positive Phase 3 Psoriasis Drug Results

Takeda Canada, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (TKPYY), announced on June 23, 2026, positive topline results from its Phase 3 LATITUDE Atlas study for TAK-279, an investigational oral therapy for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. The study met its primary and all key secondary endpoints, signaling a significant step towards potential regulatory approval and market entry for the drug. The primary endpoint assessed the proportion of patients achieving a 75% improvement in the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI 75) at Week 16 compared to placebo. Key secondary endpoints included PASI 90, PASI 100, and static Physician’s Global Assessment (sPGA 0/1) at Week 16.
