Transcat Inc. (TRNS) reported a 22% decline in fiscal fourth-quarter net income to $2.1 million, or $0.24 per share, from $2.7 million, or $0.30 per share, a year earlier, the calibration services provider said on Tuesday. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, rose 5% to $65 million, driven by growth in its services segment. The Rochester, New York-based company attributed the profit drop to higher operating costs and investments in expansion. Despite the earnings decline, Transcat maintained its full-year fiscal 2027 guidance for mid-single-digit revenue growth.
