TC Energy to Sell Mexico Pipeline Unit to ESENTIA for C$560 Million

TC Energy Corp. (TRP) said on September 22, 2026, it agreed to sell Energía Occidente de México, the entity holding the Guadalajara-Manzanillo Pipeline, to affiliates of ESENTIA Energy Development, S.A.B. de C.V., for C$560 million. The buyer is a Mexican energy infrastructure developer. The Guadalajara-Manzanillo Pipeline serves Mexico's western corridor. The transaction adds to TC Energy's ongoing divestiture program, which the Calgary-based company has pursued to reduce debt and fund core operations. Terms and closing timeline beyond the purchase price were not disclosed.
