Trupanion Q1 Revenue Beats Estimates as P&C Insurers Post Mixed Results

Trupanion (NASDAQ:TRUP) reported first-quarter revenue of $384 million, up 12.3% from a year earlier and 1.1% above analyst estimates, as property and casualty insurers posted mixed results for the period ended March 31, 2026. Trupanion also beat EPS and book value per share expectations, while its shares were little changed at $23.76 after the report. Across 32 tracked property and casualty insurers, revenue exceeded consensus estimates by an average 1.9%, though the group’s stocks have fallen 1.1% on average since reporting. Stewart Information Services (NYSE:STC) revenue rose 27.7% to $781.3 million, beating estimates by 4.6%, with shares at $68.11. Fidelity National Financial (NYSE:FNF) missed revenue estimates by 10.7%, reporting $3.23 billion, and shares fell 5.9% to $48.28. American Financial Group (NYSE:AFG) revenue rose 1.7% to $1.76 billion but missed estimates by 5%, while Lemonade (NYSE:LMND) revenue jumped 70.6% to $258 million, beating estimates by 2.4%, though its shares fell 16.3% to $55.04.
