Venice AI Token VVV Hits Record $34.51, Up 3,000% Since December
VVV, the native token of privacy-focused AI platform Venice, reached a new all-time high of $34.51 on September 20, 2026, gaining roughly 17% in 24 hours and about 3,000% since bottoming at $0.92 in December 2025. Its market cap is near $1.6 billion, ranking third among AI-focused cryptocurrencies behind Near and Tao. VVV is an access key to Venice, a chatbot and image generator founded by ShapeShift creator Erik Voorhees. Users stake VVV to receive a daily share of the platform's inference; staking also mints DIEM, which provides $1 in daily API credit. A portion of revenue buys and burns VVV, cutting supply. Annual issuance fell from 14 million tokens at launch to 2.5 million as of September 1, with a further cut to 2 million set for October 1. Venice reported a $100 million annualized revenue run rate in August, up from $70 million a month earlier, and raised $65 million in a July Series A led by Dragonfly at a $1 billion valuation. Market data shows the 100 largest VVV wallets hold roughly 98% of supply, a concentration risk.
