21Shares Lists Europe's First Zcash ETP on Euronext, Charges 2.5% Fee
21Shares listed Europe's first physically backed Zcash exchange-traded product on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam on Sept. 22, trading under ticker ZCASH with a 2.5% annual management fee — above most Bitcoin and Ether ETPs on the same venues. A companion product tracking ether.fi's ETHFI token launched alongside it at the same fee. BitGo serves as custodian. The fund debuted small: 5,000 securities outstanding, a net asset value of $20.04 per unit and roughly $100,000 in assets under management, per 21Shares' factsheet. ZCASH trades in euros in Paris and dollars in Amsterdam. The listing extends a rally in ZEC, a privacy coin offering shielded transactions. The token surpassed $1,600 on Sept. 22 and touched an intraday high near $1,680 on Sept. 23 before easing to about $1,522, down roughly 6.6%. ZEC has gained over 2,700% this year, with a market cap near $27.5 billion — ninth-largest among crypto assets. Grayscale's ZCSH, holding about $890 million, completes a 3-for-1 split on Sept. 30.
