Zcash traded at $1,333.50 on Oct. 1, down 7.29% on the day and about 21% below its late-September peak of $1,698.00. The decline follows a 253% rally from a $480.72 base and a $30.25 million net outflow from the Grayscale Zcash ETF (ZCSH) on Sept. 30, its first major withdrawal after attracting $268 million in cumulative inflows since its Aug. 25 launch. Sentiment is also under pressure from the $387 million Bitget hack on Sept. 24, which the exchange's CEO linked to North Korean groups. Blockchain investigator ZachXBT flagged 2,746 ZEC, worth about $3.9 million, moving from hack-linked addresses into Zcash's shielded pool. Bitcoin spiked to $85,600 on Oct. 1 after softer PCE inflation data before retreating, while the 10-year Treasury yield closed at 5.29%. CME FedWatch shows October rate-hike odds falling below 50% from 70%. Technical indicators remain bullish overall, with the 50-day EMA above the 200-day. A close below $1,233 would signal further downside; a reclaim of $1,410.72 would resume the uptrend.
