ABB Posts $1.18 Billion Q3 Net Income, Revenue of $9.7 Billion

ABB Ltd. (ABBNY) reported third-quarter net income of $1.18 billion, or 65 cents per share, the Zurich-based industrial automation company said Tuesday. Adjusted earnings from continuing operations came to 68 cents per share. Revenue for the period totaled $9.7 billion. ABB shares have risen 21% since the start of the year.
