AbbVie Q3 Profit Rises to $4.22 Billion as Revenue Climbs 10.3%

AbbVie (ABBV) reported third-quarter net income of $4.218 billion, or $2.37 per share, up sharply from $186 million, or $0.10 per share, a year earlier, the company announced. Adjusted earnings, excluding items, totaled $6.795 billion, or $3.82 per share. Revenue for the period rose 10.3% to $17.404 billion from $15.776 billion last year. The company guided full-year earnings per share to a range of $13.95 to $13.99.
