AbbVie's Allergan Aesthetics Reports Midface Improvement With HArmonyCa in GLP-1 Patients; ABBV Down 1.95%
Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company (ABBV), said a subgroup analysis of patients using GLP-1 weight-loss medications showed all eight participants treated with HArmonyCa had visible midface improvement at three months. AbbVie shares fell 1.95% to $283.44. The findings were among eight scientific posters the company will present at the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress in Dubai, taking place October 21-23, 2026. HArmonyCa is a hybrid injectable combining hyaluronic acid for immediate lifting with calcium hydroxyapatite for longer-term biostimulation, addressing facial volume and skin quality. Additional presentations cover patient-reported neck appearance improvements after SKINVIVE treatment and satisfaction with long-term BOTOX Cosmetic use at Middle East study sites. The company will also host symposia on its AA Signature multimodal treatment approach, including discussion of HArmonyCa, which was recently introduced in the United Arab Emirates.
