Arch Capital Q3 Revenue Falls 3% to $3.845 Billion as Earnings Slip to $2.67 Per Share

Arch Capital Group Ltd. (ACGL) reported third-quarter revenue of $3.845 billion, down 3.0% from $3.964 billion a year earlier, as earnings declined to $910 million from $1.042 billion. On a per-share basis, the insurer posted GAAP earnings of $2.67, compared with $2.77 in the prior-year quarter. The results reflect lower earnings and a modest contraction in revenue for the quarter.
