Alnylam Q3 Profit Jumps to $2.17 Billion as Revenue Rises 16.7%

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALNY) reported third-quarter earnings of $2.167 billion, or $15.72 per share, up sharply from $292.68 million, or $2.14 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $2.242 billion, or $16.26 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 16.7% to $1.458 billion from $1.249 billion in the prior-year period.
