REalloys (NASDAQ: ALOY) is positioning itself as the sole North American producer able to qualify heavy rare earths before new Pentagon procurement rules take effect January 1, restricting Chinese-origin materials across U.S. weapons systems supply chains. The company expects high-purity dysprosium, terbium and NdPr oxides from SRC's Saskatoon facility as early as Q4 2026 to support customer qualification, with full integrated production targeted for Q3 2027. Its Euclid, Ohio facility handles metallization and magnet manufacturing, and former SRC Chief Technology Officer Dr. Muhammad Imran now runs operations. REalloys holds an 80% offtake on SRC's NdPr, Dy and Tb output, closed $100 million in institutional financing and reports roughly $122 million in cash with minimal debt. It also signed a letter of intent with South Korea's JS Link for magnet manufacturing and was selected by the U.S. Army to negotiate rare earth processing facilities at Tooele Army Depot in Utah. Competitors MP Materials and USA Rare Earth have raised over $1 billion and $1.6 billion respectively, though the Center for Strategic and International Studies flags metallization as the hardest capability to rebuild outside China.
