Amkor Technology Q3 Profit Climbs to $127 Million as Revenue Jumps 31.5%

Amkor Technology Inc. (AMKR) reported third-quarter earnings of $127 million, or $0.51 per share, up from $54 million, or $0.22 per share, in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 31.5% to $1.987 billion from $1.511 billion a year earlier, the semiconductor packaging and test services provider said. For the next quarter, Amkor guided earnings per share of $0.38 to $0.48 and revenue of $1.775 billion to $1.875 billion.
