Ameriprise Financial Q3 Profit Rises to $1.126 Billion, EPS $12.32 on 6.8% Revenue Growth

Ameriprise Financial Inc. (AMP) reported higher third-quarter earnings, with net income rising to $1.126 billion, or $12.32 per share, from $912 million, or $9.33 per share, a year earlier. Excluding certain items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $1.103 billion, or $12.07 per share, for the period. Revenue increased 6.8% to $5.117 billion from $4.791 billion in the prior-year quarter, according to the company's GAAP results.
