Amer Movil Posts $1.41 Billion Q3 Profit, Beats Analyst Estimates

America Movil (AMX) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $1.41 billion, with profit of 47 cents per share, exceeding the 46-cent average estimate from three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Mexico City-based telecommunications company posted revenue of $14.53 billion for the period. Shares of Amer Movil have risen 11% since the start of the year, reaching $22.90 in the final minutes of Tuesday trading, a 2.5% gain over the past 12 months.
