Amazon Q3 Profit Falls to $20.7 Billion as EPS Slips to $1.89 Despite 12% Revenue Growth

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) reported third-quarter earnings of $20.685 billion, or $1.89 per share, down from $21.187 billion, or $1.95 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period rose 12.1% to $201.944 billion from $180.169 billion last year, according to GAAP figures. The company guided next-quarter revenue to a range of $240.0 billion to $247.0 billion.
