Ascendis Pharma A/S (ASND) reported pooled clinical data showing sustained improvements in kidney function in hypoparathyroidism patients treated with TransCon PTH, presented at the 2026 American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week. The analysis pooled 139 patients from the Phase 2 PaTH Forward and Phase 3 PaTHway studies, with 129 completing the final visit. Patients receiving TransCon PTH showed a mean eGFR increase of 7.2 mL/min/1.73 m² at Week 26 and 9.6 mL/min/1.73 m² at Week 52, sustained in follow-up data extending up to five years. By Week 52, 68.9% of patients achieved an eGFR increase of at least 5 mL/min/1.73 m², and 49.6% exceeded 10 mL/min/1.73 m². Twenty-four-hour urine calcium fell from a baseline mean of 396 mg/day to 206 mg/day at Week 26 and 170 mg/day at Week 52. At the final visit, 98% of patients were independent of active vitamin D and 95% no longer required therapeutic calcium doses. No new safety signals were identified. ASND is trading at $245.21, up 0.68%.
