Broadcom, FedEx Extend Digital Infrastructure Software Agreement

Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) and FedEx Corp. (FDX) said Tuesday they extended their partnership through a consolidated agreement covering the logistics company's digital infrastructure optimization and application modernization. Under the deal, Broadcom will continue supplying FedEx with its infrastructure software portfolio, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware Avi Load Balancer and VMware Tanzu Platform. The software supports FedEx's technology operations globally. FedEx uses VMware Cloud Foundation to run its private cloud infrastructure with automated, secure operations across its data center environment, supporting mission-critical workloads and day-to-day global services. No financial terms were disclosed.
