American Water Works Q3 Revenue Rises 4.1% to $1.51 Billion; Sets 2027 EPS Guidance

American Water Works Co. (AWK) reported third-quarter earnings of $387 million, or $1.94 per share, matching last year's per-share result, as revenue rose 4.1% to $1.510 billion from $1.451 billion. Adjusted earnings came in at $2.00 per share for the period. GAAP earnings edged up from $379 million a year earlier. The utility reiterated full-year EPS guidance of $6.07 to $6.12 and established 2027 standalone adjusted EPS guidance of $6.53 to $6.63, representing 8% growth at the midpoint versus its 2026 adjusted EPS guidance range.
