BioArctic Royalty Income Jumps 74% as Leqembi Q3 Sales Hit JPY 32.2 Billion

BioArctic AB (BIOA-B.ST) said partner Eisai reported preliminary global Leqembi revenue of 32.2 billion Japanese Yen for the third quarter of 2026, generating a 203.8 million Swedish Kronor royalty payment to the company — an increase of approximately 74% from the royalty recognized in the third quarter of 2025. The figure was disclosed alongside Biogen Inc.'s (BIIB) third-quarter earnings release. Leqembi, a humanised IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting soluble amyloid-beta protofibrils and insoluble amyloid-beta aggregates, is approved to treat early Alzheimer's disease, including mild cognitive impairment and mild dementia due to Alzheimer's disease. BioArctic will publish its third-quarter 2026 report on November 25, 2026. The stock has traded between SEK 257.00 and SEK 364.40 over the past 52 weeks; as of writing it was up 0.56% at SEK 322.00.
