BankUnited Q3 Profit Rises to $72.17 Million, EPS $1.01

BankUnited, Inc. (BKU) reported third-quarter earnings of $72.17 million, or $1.01 per share, up from $71.85 million, or $0.95 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $73.88 million, or $1.03 per share. Revenue for the quarter rose 1.7% to $280.44 million from $275.68 million a year earlier.
