Popular Inc. Posts $266.3 Million Q3 Net Income, EPS of $4.21

Popular Inc. (BPOP) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $266.3 million, or $4.21 per share. The Hato Rey, Puerto Rico-based bank, which operates Banco Popular and other banks in Puerto Rico and the U.S., posted revenue of $1.18 billion for the period. Revenue net of interest expense was $874.6 million. Popular shares have increased 30% since the beginning of the year and are up 38% over the last 12 months.
