Banco Santander-Chile Posts Q3 Earnings of $355.8 Million, Missing Analyst Estimates

Banco Santander-Chile (BSAC) reported third-quarter earnings of $355.8 million on Friday, falling short of Wall Street expectations as per-share profit came in at 52 cents against an average analyst estimate of 65 cents, according to a Zacks Investment Research survey of three analysts. The Santiago-based financial holding company posted revenue of $1.49 billion for the period, with revenue net of interest expense totaling $961.3 million. The stock has risen 1% since the start of the year and is up 11% over the past 12 months.
