Boyd Gaming Q3 Profit Falls to $124.9 Million as Revenue Slips 1.3%

Boyd Gaming Corp. (BYD) reported third-quarter earnings of $124.933 million, or $1.71 per share, down from $1.439 billion, or $17.81 per share, in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings came in at $121.658 million, or $1.67 per share. Revenue for the quarter fell 1.3% to $990.455 million from $1.004 billion a year earlier, the casino operator said. The prior-year figure reflected a substantial one-time gain that inflated the comparison basis, while the current quarter's results exclude certain items.
