Carrier Global to Invest $600 Million in Texas Manufacturing and Engineering Center
Carrier Global Corp. (CARR) announced Thursday it will invest more than $600 million over three years in a new advanced manufacturing and engineering center in Fort Worth, Texas, a move the company said reflects confidence in its business growth and commitment to domestic manufacturing. The site is scheduled to begin operations in 2027 and is expected to generate 1,500 advanced manufacturing, engineering and other jobs. CEO David Gitlin said the expansion increases capacity for critical technologies, strengthens supply chain resilience and creates high-quality jobs. Carrier described itself as the largest U.S.-headquartered company in its industry. In pre-market trading on the NYSE, CARR was at $56.18, down 0.51 percent.
