Cameco Nine-Month Profit Falls to C$199 Million as Revenue Slips 0.1%

Cameco Corporation (CCJ) reported a nine-month profit of C$199 million, or C$0.46 per share, down from C$391 million, or C$0.90 per share, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings for the period totaled C$279 million, or C$0.64 per share. Revenue edged down 0.1% to C$2.278 billion from C$2.281 billion last year, the uranium producer said. The GAAP results compare with prior-year earnings of C$391 million and EPS of C$0.90.
