Cincinnati Financial Posts $459M Q3 Profit, Tops Analyst Estimates

Cincinnati Financial Corp. (CINF) on Monday reported third-quarter profit of $459 million, or $2.96 per share, beating Wall Street expectations. Adjusted earnings, excluding investment gains, came to $2.86 per share. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was $1.99 per share. The Fairfield, Ohio-based insurer posted revenue of $3.05 billion, with adjusted revenue of $3.03 billion, meeting Street forecasts.
