Clearfield, Inc. (CLFD) said Tuesday that President and CEO Cheri Beranek will retire on March 31, 2027, and that the fiber connectivity solutions provider has begun searching for her successor. Beranek will stay in her current role until a successor is appointed or her retirement date, whichever comes first. After a successor is named, she will remain with the company in a non-director role as President and CEO Emeritus. The board said it will weigh internal and external candidates with a nationally recognized executive search firm. Separately, Clearfield said it expects fourth-quarter and fiscal 2026 results in line with guidance issued during its Aug. 5 third-quarter earnings call. The company plans to report those results on November 10. In pre-market Nasdaq trading, Clearfield shares fell 0.59% to $30.42, after closing Monday's regular session up 3.83%.
