Comcast Q3 Profit Rises to $3.45 Billion Despite 6.1% Revenue Decline

Comcast Corp. (CMCSA) reported third-quarter earnings of $3.448 billion, or $0.97 per share, up from $3.332 billion, or $0.90 per share, in the same period last year. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $3.824 billion, or $1.07 per share. Revenue for the quarter fell 6.1% to $29.298 billion from $31.198 billion a year earlier, according to the company's earnings release.
