Capital One Q3 Net Income Rises to $3.539 Billion, EPS $5.61

Capital One Financial Corp. (COF) reported higher third-quarter net income, with earnings rising to $3.539 billion, or $5.61 per share, from $3.192 billion, or $4.83 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the company posted adjusted earnings of $4.076 billion, or $6.69 per share. Revenue for the period increased 6.4% to $16.344 billion from $15.359 billion last year.
