Freightos founder Zvi Schreiber's campaign to reshape the digital freight-booking platform's leadership will go to a contested shareholder vote, with the board agreeing to put his proposals before shareholders at its annual general meeting in December, pending confirmation of the date. Schreiber, who holds roughly 6% of the company, submitted three resolutions: removing Chairman Udo Lange as a director, requiring annual director elections instead of staggered three-year terms, and a nonbinding recommendation to appoint a chairman with growth-stage technology experience. Schreiber said Freightos refused to put the strategy recommendation to a vote; the company did not directly comment on that claim. The dispute centers on strategy. Schreiber resigned from the board on Feb. 28, citing the decision to prioritize the Solutions software and data business over the digital booking platform. Freightos shares have fallen about 78% over the past year, compared with a roughly 16% gain for the Nasdaq Composite. Second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 3% to $7.7 million, with Platform revenue up 19% to $2.9 million and Solutions revenue down 4% to $4.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $2 million. Freightos said its board will evaluate the proposals under its fiduciary duties.
