Carter's Posts $36.6 Million Q3 Profit, Issues Holiday-Quarter Guidance

Carter's Inc. (CRI) on Friday reported third-quarter earnings of $36.6 million, or $1 per share, on revenue of $752.5 million, and guided fourth-quarter earnings per share to a range of $1.37 to $1.55. Adjusted for non-recurring costs, the Atlanta-based children's apparel and accessories maker said net income was $1.03 per share. For the fiscal fourth quarter ending in December, Carter's expects revenue of $860 million to $880 million. The company guided full-year earnings of $3.05 to $3.23 per share, with revenue of $2.91 billion to $2.93 billion.
