CoreWeave (CRWV-US) said October 27 that new compute capacity went live in Copenhagen, bringing its European footprint to five countries and nine data centers, while extending its AI backbone network to the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The company also outlined planned capacity of 600MW across India and Indonesia, with facilities to come online starting in 2028. The Danish site, located at atNorth's DEN01 data center, is planned for 22.5MW of IT equipment capacity, most of which is already operational. It uses Nvidia (NVDA-US) Blackwell systems and Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, with waste heat recovered for local district heating. European expansion relies mainly on local partners: a cumulative 2.5 billion pounds committed in the U.K., first capacity live at two Swedish sites with Conapto, a planned 15MW Barcelona site with 10,224 H200 GPUs, and GB200 NVL72 clusters with Bulk in Norway. In Asia, CoreWeave plans three Indonesian facilities totaling 360MW and a 240MW Mumbai site with AdaniConneX on the Vera Rubin platform, with first phase in mid-2028 and room for up to 240MW more. Network buildout comes first, with new points of presence in the UAE, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, South Korea and Japan from late in the fourth quarter and a ring backbone completed by mid-2027 using multiple 400Gbps links.
