Nine companies including Verizon, Broadcom and UnitedHealth have objected to their shares trading on OKXICE, the tokenized-stock venue operated by OKX and NYSE-owner ICE, according to a daily newsletter. The group represents 14% of the 63 companies the venue planned to list, and the notice did not state the grounds for objection or whether it blocks the listings. Nasdaq, which is not among the nine, is opting its own shares out, citing the lack of real-time best-price and consolidated tape reporting. The venue is not registered with the SEC and is not subject to Regulation NMS best-execution rules; trading is capped at a fraction of each stock's normal volume and administrators can upgrade smart contracts without notice. It operates under an SEC "Innovation Exemption" unveiled in September. The objections hit OKXICE most directly, while Robinhood, Kraken and Backed Finance also run stock-token products dependent on a growing pool of tokenizable equities. Separately, Bitcoin traded at $81.4k, down 1%, and Bitcoin ETFs drew $527M in net inflows on Monday.
