Commvault Tops Q2 Estimates With $1.38 Adjusted EPS, Revenue of $312.4 Million

Commvault Systems Inc. (CVLT) reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $29.1 million, or 69 cents per share, on Tuesday, beating Wall Street expectations. Adjusted for one-time gains and costs, earnings came to $1.38 per share, topping the average estimate of $1.25 from four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Tinton Falls, New Jersey-based data-management software company posted revenue of $312.4 million, also above Street forecasts of $310.8 million from three analysts surveyed by Zacks.
