CVS Health Opens Three New MinuteClinics in Massachusetts, Shares Rise 1.83%

CVS Health Corp. (CVS) said MinuteClinic, its clinic operating inside select CVS Pharmacy locations, opened three new sites in Charlestown, Beverly and Swampscott, Massachusetts. The Charlestown location is the first MinuteClinic in Boston, the company said, aimed at expanding access to primary and preventive care. Each clinic is staffed by board-certified nurse practitioners and offers vaccinations, health screenings, routine laboratory testing, treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, physical examinations and prescription services for common conditions. "These new MinuteClinic locations will help ensure patients in Charlestown, Beverly and Swampscott have convenient access to preventive, wellness and acute care services close to home," said Tara Allain, FNP-BC, Executive Area Director, MinuteClinic. CVS shares are up 1.83% at $94.36 and have traded between $69.51 and $110.68 over the past 52 weeks.
