Dime Community Bancshares Posts Q3 Earnings of $41.6 Million, Beating Analyst Estimates

Dime Community Bancshares Inc. (DCOM) reported third-quarter earnings of $41.6 million on Tuesday, topping Wall Street expectations. The Hauppauge, New York-based bank posted earnings of 90 cents per share, or 91 cents per share adjusted for non-recurring costs. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research had expected 87 cents per share. Revenue for the period was $197.5 million, while revenue net of interest expense came to $135.3 million, also exceeding the $131.2 million forecast by four Zacks analysts.
