Daito Trust H1 Profit Rises 28.6%, Raises FY2026 Outlook; Shares Gain 4.74%

Daito Trust Construction Co. (DIFTY, 1878.T) reported first-half fiscal 2026 earnings attributable to owners of the parent of JPY64.175 billion, or JPY196.73 per share, up from JPY49.886 billion, or JPY150.40 per share, a year earlier — a 28.6% increase. Shares closed up 4.74% at JPY3,225 on the Tokyo Exchange Friday. Operating income rose 14.3% to JPY79.299 billion from JPY69.393 billion, while net sales grew 3.0% to JPY988.686 billion from JPY959.553 billion. The company raised its full-year guidance, now expecting attributable profit of JPY109 billion, or JPY329.00 per basic share (up 10.1%), operating profit of JPY150 billion (up 10.9%), and net sales of JPY2.08 trillion (up 4.8%). It previously forecast profit of JPY108 billion, or JPY326 per share, operating profit of JPY142 billion, and net sales of JPY2.05 trillion.
