Euronet Worldwide Q3 Earnings Miss Analyst Estimates on EPS and Revenue

Euronet Worldwide Inc. (EEFT) reported third-quarter net income of $113.6 million, missing Wall Street expectations on both earnings and revenue, the electronic payments processor said Tuesday. The Leawood, Kansas-based company posted earnings of $2.53 per share, or $3.55 per share on an adjusted basis. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was $3.63 per share. Revenue for the period was $1.16 billion, also falling short of the $1.18 billion three analysts had forecast.
