Enterprise Financial Services Posts Q3 Profit of $42.4 Million, Missing Analyst Estimates

Enterprise Financial Services Corp. (EFSC) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $42.4 million, or $1.14 per share, falling short of Wall Street expectations. Adjusted for non-recurring costs, the Clayton, Missouri-based bank earned $1.17 per share. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.38 per share. Revenue totaled $251.4 million for the period. Revenue net of interest expense was $187.8 million, also below Street forecasts; three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $189.8 million.
