Equifax Q3 Profit Rises to $211.7 Million as Revenue Climbs 9.6%

Equifax Inc. (EFX) reported third-quarter net income of $211.7 million, or $1.79 per share, up from $160.2 million, or $1.29 per share, a year earlier. Excluding items, the credit reporting company posted adjusted earnings of $267.4 million, or $2.26 per share. Revenue rose 9.6% to $1.692 billion from $1.544 billion. For the next quarter, Equifax guided EPS of $2.07 to $2.17 on revenue of $1.605 billion to $1.635 billion. Full-year EPS is projected at $8.45 to $8.55, with revenue of $6.646 billion to $6.676 billion.
