Everest Group Q3 Profit Misses Estimates as EPS Falls Short at $7.62

Everest Group, Ltd. (EG) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $233 million, or $6.12 per share, with adjusted earnings of $7.62 per share falling short of the $9.38 average estimate from five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Hamilton, Bermuda-based reinsurer posted revenue of $3.71 billion for the period, also below Street forecasts of $3.84 billion expected by four analysts surveyed by Zacks. The results mark a double miss on both earnings and revenue for the quarter.
