Edison International Q3 Profit Falls to $724 Million as Revenue Drops 15%

Edison International (EIX) reported third-quarter earnings of $724 million, or $1.87 per share, down from $832 million, or $2.16 per share, a year earlier, the utility holding company announced. Excluding items, adjusted earnings came in at $738 million, or $1.92 per share. Revenue for the period fell 15.0% to $4.886 billion from $5.750 billion last year. The company issued full-year EPS guidance of $5.90 to $6.20.
