Eastman Chemical Q3 Profit Jumps to $252 Million, Revenue Up 8.3%

Eastman Chemical Co. (EMN) reported third-quarter earnings of $252 million, or $2.19 per share, up sharply from $69 million, or $0.60 per share, a year earlier, the company said. Excluding items, adjusted earnings were $213 million, or $1.84 per share. Revenue rose 8.3% to $2.385 billion from $2.202 billion. The company issued full-year EPS guidance of $6.00 to $6.20.
