Enveric Biosciences' EB-003 Clears Preclinical ADMET Studies, Advancing Toward First-in-Human Trial

Enveric Biosciences (ENVB) reported positive results from completed preclinical ADMET studies for EB-003, its lead non-hallucinogenic neuroplastogenic candidate, supporting advancement toward a planned first-in-human clinical trial. The in vitro screening program comprised more than 70 assays. EB-003 showed favorable predicted intestinal absorption in human cell-based membrane permeability tests, no significant plasma protein binding, and stability against liver metabolism enzymes across multiple species including humans. The compound was not a substrate of key liver and kidney transporters and showed no significant inhibition or induction of major metabolic enzymes and multidrug transporter proteins, reducing drug-drug interaction potential. EB-003 is designed to engage both the 5-HT2A and 5-HT1B receptors, aiming to promote neuroplasticity while minimizing hallucinogenic effects. The stock closed Wednesday's trading at $1.51, up 4.86%. In pre-market trading it stood at $1.50, down 0.09%.
