Erie Indemnity Q3 Profit Slips to $182 Million as EPS Dips to $3.48

Erie Indemnity Co. (ERIE) reported third-quarter net income of $181.989 million, or $3.48 per share, down from $182.853 million, or $3.50 per share, in the prior-year period. Revenue for the quarter edged up 0.3% to $1.069 billion from $1.066 billion a year earlier. The results reflect a marginal year-over-year decline in both bottom-line profit and per-share earnings for the insurer.
