Extra Space Storage Q3 Profit Rises to $247.8 Million as Revenue Grows 3.6%

Extra Space Storage Inc. (EXR) reported third-quarter net income of $247.759 million, or $1.17 per share, up from $165.998 million, or $0.78 per share, a year earlier. Revenue for the period rose 3.6% to $889.792 million from $858.460 million last year, the self-storage real estate investment trust said. The GAAP results compare with prior-year earnings of $165.998 million and EPS of $0.78.
